Kayla Traxel is an eclectic artist who began with watercolor, captivated by its fluidity and collaborative nature. Specializing in portraiture and mixed media, Kayla explores beauty, identity, and societal values. With a passion for people and commitment to building community, Kayla also serves as a docent at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and is dedicated to making art accessible. Awarded best in show and multiple ribbons decorate a dynamic and evolving artistic journey.
